1. Cookies and browser storage

This policy covers the marketing website and the product. Cookies and local storage serve different purposes. Login and security cookies apply when you use the product; they are not evidence that the public homepage requires a login.

2. Necessary storage

The product uses session and anti-forgery cookies for authenticated access and security. Language preferences help display the requested language. These are used to deliver the requested functions.

Local storage named ilmiosalone-cookie-consent and a technical preference cookie record your choices, policy version and time of choice. The cookie applies only to its own host and is not an advertising cookie. A choice is valid for 180 days from the original action, including when transferred from marketing to the product. Clearing browser storage resets the choice. The identifier ilmiosalone-visitor-id can be created when recording a consent choice; it links the consent receipt and remains until browser storage is cleared. It is not an advertising identifier.

3. Optional usage analytics

With consent, Umami measures visited pages and permitted feature events, along with browser language, device/screen information and referring pages. It receives network information needed to deliver the request. The integration excludes the current page’s query string and fragment, and does not intentionally attach names, email addresses or message contents to analytics events.

The implementation uses Umami, not Google Analytics or Google advertising cookies. Declining analytics keeps its script unloaded. Withdrawing consent blocks subsequent analytics submissions, including from an already-loaded tracker. Browser Do Not Track is also respected by the configured tracker.

4. Change your choice

Use Cookie settings on the marketing site to allow analytics or select Necessary only. In the product, open Cookie preferences. Your choice is synchronized between marketing and the product in the same browser, including the trial-to-product transition, so you do not need to repeat it. Returning to marketing checks the most recent choice, including withdrawals. If your browser or network prevents synchronization, marketing analytics stay disabled until the shared choice can be verified. You may also clear or restrict storage using your browser. Withdrawal affects future processing; it does not undo requests already sent.

5. External services

Fonts may be requested from cdn.fontshare.com. Optional payment or other external flows can have their own cookies and privacy information, presented by the relevant provider. Accepting analytics does not authorise WhatsApp messaging or promotional communications.
